Health care sucks. New York Sucks. MY DOCTORS SUCK!

Stardate 8/2/04: Our heroine spends 2 hours finding an infectious disease doc that takes her insurance and new patients. Cornell's website lies about which physicians takes what kind of insurance. All Columbia docs who take Oxford Health Insurance seems to be on vacation. Travel docs don't take insurance. Our heroine is thwarted at every turn. And then, she finds one, with an appointment in 4 days.

XX returns call with stool sample results: stool sample came back negative for giardia, bacteria and parasites/ova. Is our heroine hallucinating? Is she imagining things? When PA is informed that eggs were observed on Tuesday and possible worm on Saturday, she said, "Well, your test is negative." No offer of follow-up or acknowledgement of our heroine's statement. Our heroine hung up the phone and fought the urge to throw it through the wall, or hire a hitman. Our heroine request that if she dies from worms, please sue her doc and oxford for making the process so fucking difficult. Proceeds can be split among friends and family. Go for the big bucks.
