Still no bag

Despite numerous attempts to talk to a US Air representative and a trip back to the Richmond airport, there is no bag in sight.

Richmond Airport was a zoo on Christmas Eve. There were piles of luggage in the baggage claim area, with only a couple of US Airways staff jotting down tag numbers on scrap pieces of papers. Hundreds of passengers had come back to search through the pile of luggage themselves, but to no avail. One family lost 11 bags.

As readers know, our heroine hates to be thwarted. She dressed down a US Air representative in the baggage office. These folks could give no information. There is no tracking system for the bags. NEVER FLY US AIR!!!

US Air sux ass

Our heroine found a great fare for the holidays: $155 from NYC to Richmond, VA RT. So she took advantage of US Air's cheap flights and booked it.

Yesterday afternoon, she leaves work earlier and travels via the M60 to Laguardia. Don't do the bus on a holiday. Seriously.

She gets to the terminal, checks in and all goes well until her NYC to BWI flight was cancelled. So her friend, a US Air employee, rerouted her on a direct to Richmond. Which gets delayed. She waited at the airport for 6 hours and finally gets to Richmong 2 hours late.

And no luggage. Her luggage never made it. And US Air doesn't know where it is. But they give her and 800 number and send her on her way. With only the clothes on her back and the promise of potentially getting her luggage in 24 hours - or perhaps the early morning flight from LaGuardia will have it...

Another fucking New York moment

Can our heroine ever get a break? She was out having a good time at a cute little Italian restaurant in West Harlem. She goes to pay the her shar of the bill when she sees thaqt her purse is open. And her wallet is gone. And her cell phone is not in her coat pocket.

Can it get any worse? Two credit cards, a drivers license, her medical insurance card and her mobile.

New York sucks this week.

Again with the car

Our heroine has a flat tire this morning. What is the deal with her car lately?
